Important News!

Parents –

A sign up sheet for food donations for the Tunnel Hill Raider competition has been set up.

Meal plan:

Fri dinner: penne pasta w/ meat sauce (ground beef & spaghetti sauce);

Sat Breakfast: bananas, oranges or apples, Cliff bars / protein/breakfast bars;

Sat Lunch (MRE);

Sat snacks: protein bars/breakfast bars, fruit (grapes?),

Sat dinner: Grill out hamburgers, hot dogs;  buns, chips, apples, cookies.

Sun Breakfast: bananas, oranges or apples, Cliff bars / protein/breakfast bars;

canopy(s), folding tables, 5 Gallon water containers, charcoal & lighter fluid, coolers w/ ice, Gatorade will be needed.

Planning meals for 20 cadets, plus 10 - 12 parents.

Any nonperishable food remaining will be used for Oct competition.   I am checking the stocks of paper plates, napkins, paper towels and foil that we currently have. So you may get notified that we are good.  

Please mark RAIDERS on the containers/boxes so they come with us on Friday.

Donations can be to the school on Thursday ( Boosters will be there between 5 – 7pm).  Or dropped off at my house on Wed or Thurs after 5:30, or Friday morning before 1030 AM.  My address 105 Irongate Road, Madison 35757, off Nick Davis between Wall Triana and Jeff Road.

Food/DRINK DONATION DROP-OFF

Drink donations can be brought in with your cadet and taken to the JROTC classroom -OR- you can drop them off on Thursday September 18th or Friday September 19th, any time between 5:00pm and 7:00pm (Car rider entrance – North side of SHS). Boosters/cadets will be there to receive the donations.

Thank you so much for helping to make this event a memorable and successful one for the JROTC cadets and to show other schools our Senator Battalion pride!
